In January 2012 ACC is opening an after school program, “JOIN IN!” in Denville, NJ to better serve the needs of families with children on the Autism spectrum in Morris County. The program will provide social skills groups, ABA therapy, and small group learning to children on the spectrum.

ACC Counseling is dedicated to providing services to assist the entire family unit in which a child with disabilities is a member. Our services include providing outstanding educational services to children, social skills groups, 1:1 instruction, ABA therapy, sibling counseling and groups, parent education, parent groups, play therapy, couple and family counseling for children adolescents and adults.

All educational treatment will be provided by highly trained therapists and overseen by our BCBA, Kimberly Mitchell. We use continuous data collection and data analysis to refine our teaching. We collaborate with all members of the child’s team to ensure generalization and functional use of new skills.  ACC is run by husband and wife team John Critides and Amy Callahan. John has spent the past three years as an ABA therapist working with children ages 2-9. Amy is a licensed clinical social worker and special education teacher. Amy spent 14 years working as a teacher of the handicapped.  She highly trained in behavioral issues, social skills, ABA therapy, family, group and individual psychotherapy. Amy has a Private practice Montclair where she has been practicing for the past 5 years. SPACE IN LIMITED CALL FOR INTAKE APT.
